It's been awhile...

Ok, this week progressing slowly but still not so bad I guess. Apart from the never-ending work streaming in (which is usual), I'm still holding up ok. I guess everyone in the office too...just some black faces here and there. Ha...

In a better mood to blog (after so long), so here I am. Even though it's office hours now.. =D

My eldest niece just celebrated her one-year birthday on Friday. Time flies huh...Still remember that puny whining infant, until my mom took charge of the "rearing" of Baby Reiko. Since then, there's no turning back...She's that chubby babe now!

Hmm...It's been a year ago that my grandad passed away too. *sniff*

Anyways, it'll be my second niece's first month's birthday this coming Saturday. I guess that's life huh. Death, birth...My second sister, who will then be out of her confinement (Seems like a month-long imprisonment to me though), will be throwing a party in baby's honour! Yay...bought a jacket for her...though it would be too big for her now I guess. Well, kids grow up really fast mah, so I have to get a bigger one so that it can last her longer. Practical reasons. The day I strike it rich, I shall buy heaps of baby clothes for them...growing child or not. That is, the day I strike it rich huh. *grin*

Xmas over, CNY over...next holidays in April...big sigh. Had plenty of opportunities to Lao Yu Sheng this CNY. From family ones, to clients' treats, to covering events...Not bad. Not that the picky me loves Yu Sheng, but I do count myself fortunate. In fact I only eat the crackers in the YuSheng. heh...But I like the way they say those auspicious stuff when they prepare the YuSheng. Like when they pour in the oil, then they gotta say something, and when they pour in the crackers, they say something else. Kudos to whoever is the one who came up with this tradition. So clever. Here's a photo taken during a dinner that a client treated us. A little small, can't really see. Doesn't matter. =)

Been covering lotsa events due to this festive period too. CNY and more CNYs...in between, I also covered a talk on drawing up a will...award presentations, some outings that saw everyone eat, drink and be merry...*giddy liao*

Heard that the March IT Show is coming. Maybe that's when I can really get my dig cam. I know since I got my bonus last Dec, I've been saying i shall use the money to buy one, but somehow I'm feeling stingy about it. Oh well, mabbe when the fair comes along I shall really get one..Who knoes

Oh...and a Happy Valentine's to all. Where did you guys go to? *wink* Happy Friendship Day to all friends and pals too...Valentine's Day is all about lurvvvve & not forgetting, friendship too!

Reminds me of those silly poems we used to sign in each other's autograph books when we were young...Like erm..."North South East West, May our Friendship be the Best"...omg...hahaha
